HWR #179 04/19/16 Where We Are Now

Plenty of news to get to this week! We kicked off the show whit what you know to know about the wacky world of wrestling! This week we had a few more points of listener-interaction! Two #AnswerHWR and one #PushKeepFire to be exact! You have lots of homework, WrestleFriends! Also, last week Abel complained about how we got Shane McMahon being in charge of Monday night RAW, but this week Chris says we're here now so it doesn't matter. Also, is the Anderson, Gallows and AJ thing a complete red herring?  WrestleThon is this weekend! Make sure to tune in to twitch.tv to check it out! Abel will be there Friday night and will work the graveyard shift from 8pm Saturday to 8am Sunday!

HWR #178 04/12/16 How We Got There

WrestleMania season is starting to fade and things are returning to normal. Normal as in, we started the show by about Lucha Underground for about 30 minutes! Matanza is such a beast and who can stop him? There was also some brief chatter on NJPW this week! But back to WWE. Shane is in charge again this week and it was a pretty good episode of RAW, but does that justify how we got here? Does it makes sense? Does it matter? Also, we saw the arrival of Anderson and Gallows! That's fantastic! But do we like how they got there? Was the debut not timed well? Or are we just glad they are there?

HWR #177 04/06/16 Everything's Better With Bacon

Well, what a crazy WrestleMania weekend! We had friend of the show Nicole "Femme Balor" Bacon joined us! She was in Dallas all weekend and gave her perspective on all the events she attended! We started with NXT TakeOver Dallas! That show was amazing and filled with top-notch matches! We then covered the WrestleMania pre show, which almost felt like a whole show in and of itself! After a short break, we broke down WrestleMania. Did it meet our expectations? Were we happy with the outcomes? Finally, the RAW after Mania was discussed! That almost felt like "NXT TakeOver: RAW"! We also attended Smackdown this past Tuesday night and we tried to not give away too many spoilers but some parts of conversation went into that territory. No ROH, Lucha Underground or TNA talk this week; we'll get back on track next week! Hope everyone enjoyed their WrestleMania weekend! 

HWR #176 03/29/16 WrestleMEHnia?

The big week is finally here! As you plan to travel to Dallas, take this episode along whit you! We started by doing a full preview of NXT Takeover Dallas! This show could potentially steal the spotlight from WrestleMania! After that, we reviewed Aztec Warefare 2! This was a great episode and possibly be another candidate for Match Of The Year, but we might need your help! Afterwards, we had the privilege of interviewing Lucha Underground ring announcer Melissa Santos! Thanks to the guys at Clutch City Productions, you heard her here on our show and you can meet her this weekend at WrestleCon in Dallas along whit a whole slew of other big names at the convention! After the interview, we went into our full preview for the biggest wrestling event of the year, WrestleMania! But is this year all it's cracked up to be? Do we have a stinker on our hands? What are the redeeming qualities? Hear it all in this monster of an episode!

HWR #175 3/22/16 Wrestling, Rants and Free Stuff

This week saw a few bits of news. Basically another week, another injury. As WrestleMania draws ever closer, we continue to try to make sense of the top storylines in WWE. Maybe Kevin Dunn can shed some light? NXT Takeover Dallas is shaping up to be a great event, but is it at the expense of it's weekly show? Also, Travis goes on epic rant about the NXT women! Chris gives his ROH roundup for the week and we somehow got into an interesting tangent about ACH! Finally, we get to our Lucha Underground talk! Who won our drawing for the LU poster and comic book? Find out at the end of the episode!

HWR #177 03/16/16 WWE DLC

This episode is a day late because the HWR crew went down to Austin for the Lucha Underground show at South By South West on Tuesday night! It was a great live event and it left wanting more! But first we had to talk about the WWE Roadblocknetwork special and the RAW after, it's still the Road To WrestleMania, after all! What a crazy week!

Another week of good wrestling is in the books! Lucha Underground had a couple impressive matches, as did NXT! We also, previewed this weekend's special event, WWE Roadblock! HWR #172 03/01/16 Preparation HWR

This weekend the guys watched ROH's 14th anniversary ppv! Generally, it was a pretty good show. also, Lucha Underground had another great episode! It was refreshing to hear everyone being a bit positive this week! But then came the RAW talk. HHH vs Dean is something we would be excited for if it wasn't for a certain something, Undertaker's "explanation" left much to be desired, and Y2AJ seems like a bit of a waste. Looks like the upcoming special will indeed be a Roadblcok.

HWR #171 02/23/16 Here Comes The Money!

We're on the Road to WrestleMania and the ride in the FastLane was widely regarded as disappointing! As many disgruntled members of the IWC begrudgingly tuned into Monday Night RAW, they got one of the biggest surprises in years! Shane O Mac made his return in a storyline twist that had everyone intrigued! That is until we all had to scratch our heads to the announcement that he will be facing The Undertaker at Mania. It was quite the week! Also, ROH and NJPW had a co-promoted show this past weekend and there were some hidden gems in it! Lucha Underground didn't fail to put on another heck of a broadcast last week either! All that and more in this week's episode!

WWE FastLane is this weekend! We previewed the show the only way we know how! Of course, there was plenty to say about all things going on in WWE. After that we talked about Lucha Underground and the Joey Ryan reveal! Also, we did't forget about NXT and ROH!
