HWR #132 05/12/15 Road To Unstoppable Payback Chamber

This week WWE decided that we needed three big events to cover NXT Unstoppable, Payback and Elimination Chamber! We  gave Payback our usual treatment for ppv's in giving our predictions and anticipation levels for each match! And we also briefly looked at the NXT event and EC a few weeks from now. That wasn't the only big news from WWE, Daniel Bryan has quit again and we're thinking that this may be it for the Bearded GOAT. Also Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling is making headlines and we try (and fail) to impress Travis with it. Oh and Ring of Honor is having their big cross over events with NJPW this week! Last but not least, we cover the big match between Alberto and Johnny Mundo from Lucha Underground! It's a busy and exciting week!

HWR #131 05/05/15 Lucha De Mayo

Happy Cinco De Mayo! We celebrated by talking about wrestling! This week RAW wasn't that bad (depending on who you ask)! We even got a Match Of The Week out of it (again, depending on who you ask)! We were also surprised by Sami Zayn showing up to challenge John Cena! all that being said, we then moved on to Lucha Underground where we had a couple interesting plot twists! Who is Dario's brother, who is The Moth and when will Hernandez and/or Konnan turn on Puma? There's also some news coming out of ring of Honor that we touched on. We also gave a big congratulations to Dave "Super" Duperon for winning a Texas state weightlifting competition!

HWR #130 04/29/15 Chillin With SuperMex

We had some news to start off the episode and touched on NXT but Lucha Underground stole the show again this week! But, we have a problem and we need your help categorizing the  match/matches for the trios finals for Match Of the Year Candidacy. Please, let us know what you think after hearing our arguments on the show! Also, we had a fantastic interview with former TNA and current Lucha Underground star Hernandez! It was great having him back on the show and he revealed a couple things that have been going on with LU, we talked a little bit about his promotion in San Antonio called River City Wrestling and we mentioned his appearance here in Houston on July 12th for LoneStar Championship Wrestling! After the interview, we reviewed the Extreme Rules ppv, the RAW after and the big KOTR win by Barrett! 

HWR #129 04/21/15 Y U Mad, Bro?

This week ROH caught our eye with the announcements of all the things going on for Global Wars and War of the Worlds! Also, Lucha Underground really threw us a curve-ball with the Unique Opportunity stipulation that Drago won! NXT had a lackluster debut of a new Diva. We did our complete preview for WWE's Extreme rules ppv! Abel went on quite the rant and got a little hot-under-the-collar, too! find out what got him so mad! And we are gearing up for WrestleThon 2 this weekend! 

HWR #128 04/14/15 Monday Night Yawn

This week Travis fell asleep during NXT and Chris fell asleep during RAW. That seems about right. The last couple weeks after WrestleMania have been a little lackluster. Luckly, we still have Lucha Underground putting on phenomenal shows and you, our listeners,  giving awesome feedback for this week's #PushKeepFire! In fact, you guys did such a good job that we have another listener-interaction event for you! Tune in to find out what!

HWR #127 04/07/15 It's Gonna Be A Long Sprummer

Things seem to be settling down after WrestleMania and we've already had a less-than-impressive RAW. The honeymoon is over and it's gonna be a long Sprummer! Fortunately, the guys at Lucha Underground are still putting in quality shows week in and week out! NXT was average but hopefully we will have that pick up pretty soon, too. We are also looking forward to WrestleThon 2!

HWR #126 03/31/15 It's Better In The Dark

WOW! What a week for wrestling! Coming off one of the best WrestleManias in recent history, we were treated to a fantastic 2 hours of RAW... yes... 2 hours.... This episode is jam packed with our coverage of WrestleMania and the RAW after. we had plenty to rave and rant about! We also read off your opinions from Facebook on the show! But not only that, we also had an interview with our good friend Aaron Garcia, who came on to promote the next big event for us to look forward to, ComicPalooza! Aaron had a big exclusive reveal for us in this episode and we gurantee that you'll be excited to hear who will be at ComicPalooza this year signing autographs! Then afterwards, we had a "Too Hot For HWR" segment in the B Roll that might offend some people.... or you might totally agree with it... 

HWR #125 03/24/15 WrestleMania Play Button Preview Spectacular

It is officially WrestleMania week! The most wonderful time of the year for wrestling fans! Unfortunately, the week started off on a tragic note with the news of the accident that led to the passing of El Hijo del Perro Aguayo. We talked all about our thoughts on the accident and how it could affect the wrestling world. After that we had the uneasy task of shifting to the discussion of a possible Match Of The Year Candidate from Lucha Underground. We had some brief NXT chatter and then it was all about the Grandaddy Of Em All, WrestleMania Play Button! We fully previewed the event match-by-match wby giving our anticipation levels and predictions! Last but certainly not least, we tally up the votes and announce our winning match for the #HWRManiaMadness tournament! It was determined by a very close margin! Hope everyone has a great WrestleMania week! 

HWR #124 03/17/15 A$$holery, InterClusterf***inental and Over-Rated-Er

We are two weeks away from WrestleMania and WWE are being assholes to their loyal, enthusiastic, front-row-seat-buying fans! We have our continued coverage for the build to the Grandest Show Of Em All in this episode and right now, things aren't looking up. There are some bright spots, though! After, we give out the results for the Semi finals of #HWRManiaMadness! What two matches are going to the Finals? We then quickly touch on NXT, Lucha Underground's TV programming for the week and the great indie shows from this past weekend! That led into our guest interview for this week, Big Daddy Yum Yum Byron Wilcott. we touched on his match from Lone Star Championship Wrestling and his budding rivalry Raj Singh fka Jinder Mahal! After that, Byron discusses his personal experience with Bill DeMott! His story is pretty crazy and is in-step with most of the other horror-stories surfacing about the Ex-Head Trainer for WWE Developmental! 

HWR #123 03/11/15 Rated D For Explicit Content

In this episode we cover the Bill Demott controversy right off the bat. Then we jump a little bit into Lucha Underground and how's Alberto El Patron's performance there compared to his ROH performance. Of course we cover NXT, or at least Abel and Travis does... We did a quick preview of the two indie wrestling shows happening this weekend! Then we delve deep into WWE talk and how WrestleMania is shaping up so far! Last but not least, The votes for the Quarter Finals of #HWRManiaMadness are in and man, the Semi Finals look though!Also, Chris had some interesting takes on the Demott story and the induction of Connor "The Crusher". Be prepared to be offended!
