HWR #73 03/11/14 Better Late Than Never Or Too Little, Too Late?

On this episode of HWR, we review TNA's Lockdown ppv much to Travis' dismay. After that we convinced Chris that he had to watch this past week's episode of NXT! But, of course, the 500lb elephant in the room, aka, the Occupy RAW segment had to be discussed! Was this a case of "too little, too late" or was it "better late than never?" We all had different opinions on the matter and it made for a good discussion! If you wanted Daniel Bryan talk, we had it! The Road to WrestleMania took a very interesting turn this week!

HWR #72 03/04/14 Saying Hello To The Bad Guy

Another major stop on the road to WrestleCon for us in this one! We spoke the the legendary Scott Hall!! That's right, The Bad Guy himself gave us a few quick minutes of his time to help promote his appearance at Wrestlecon at the Clutch city Productions booth during WrestleMania Weekend! He spoke a little bit about his life now and helping his son, Cody, in becoming a wrestler and how happy he is now after his hip surgery a year ago! It's a great must-listen interview! After all that, we gave our predictions for TNA Lockdown, we reviewed NXT Arrival and topped it all off with some great WWE talk fueled buy our "Ask HWR" questions from our great listeners! This is one of those can't-miss episod!

Special Edition 03/01/14 The Ladies Of HWR

Behind every man-child podcaster is a strong woman rolling her eyes! While the HWR Crew was enthralled with the WWE Network, their better-halves took over recording duties! Randi, Nancy and Lisa talked alot about the state of professional wrestling from a females' perspective! And apparently Lisa has a tendency for hitting the table while talking much like Chris does... only worse.

HWR #71 02/25/14 Botched To You By The WWE Network

This was a busy week for the WWE and the IWC! So many mixed feelings and emotions were running wild! One person in particular had ups and downs the last few days was none other #73 offensive tackle for your Houston Texans, Brennan Williams! He had us travel back to The Great Black Compound to discuss all things, Bryan, Elimination Chamber, Hogan, WrestleMania XXX and WWE Network!! It was a lot to get to! We did have a few technical difficulties but we were able to overcome it and bring you a great episode with some awesome content!

HWR #70 02/18/14 How Do You Say "Yum Yum" In Japanese?

Fresh off of his tour of Japan we spoke to NWA Lonestar Heavyweight champ, "Addictive and Expensive" "Big Daddy Yum Yum" Byron Wilcot! We discussed all the details of his trip to the Land of The Rising Sun, his time he spent at FCW and his upcoming match with "Godzilla" Jax Dane this Saturday at NWA Houston! It was a fun interview and we were glad to have him back on the show and back in that states! We also had a few things to say about Booker T's ROW show from last weekend. After that we had quite a bit of news to go over regarding the WWE Network and WWE tv programming. We touched briefly on the events from Impact wrestling this week. And with Elimination Chamber this Sunday, we gave the card a full preview! Of course we had our "Push Keep Fire" segment to get to and we hand quite the debate as to weather or not to nominate either Cesaro vs Cena or Cesaro vs Orton to "Match of the Year Candidate" status! HWR #69 02/11/14 Insert Sexual Innuendo Here

Episode 69 is here and we tried our best to not make the easy sex jokes but a few slipped in! Travis had a dilemma about what to do with his VHS collection after the WWE Network debuts. We had the obligatory WrestleMania mainevent scene discussion but we also delved a little bit more into the WWE undercard programing this week. We also discussed Zema Ion's X Division title cash in failure and MVP's promo from Impact last week. Chris also has a proposed Match of the Year candidate! And our "Push, Keep, Fire" segment is still going strong with Cena, Batista and Orton being the targets for this one!

HWR #68 02/04/14 The HWR And Cole Show

Ring of Honor is having another show down in Texas this weekend! We had the pleasure of interviewing their world champion, Adam Cole! It was a great interview and he had a great story about traveling overseas! After that, we had a great discussion about CM Punk's departure which bled into our "Push, Keep, Fire" segment for the week! Up on the chopping block this week was Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and Antonio Cesaro! We also looked at some of the events from TNA this week! We capped it all off with Chris' account of his experience at Booker T's Fantasy Wrestling Camp and the debut of ROW on tv! 

HWR #67 01/28/14 On Location At The Great Black Compound

Ok everybody we are now officially on the Road to WrestleMania XXX! Royal Rumble was a wild and controversial ppv anyway you slice it! We got right into the hot topic of Daniel Bryan from the get-go! We jumped into the subject so fast that we almost forgot that we had a very special guest co-host for the evening, #73 for your Houston Texans, "The Great Black Otaku" Brennan Williams! In fact, we were on location at his "compound!" It was great hiving him on the show discussing all things WWE, Daniel Bryan and Royal Rumble. But the fun did not end there! We gave out a MVP for the Royal Rumble award and we also had another installment of #PushKeepFire featuring the three members of The Shield! All this was followed by some brief TNA chatter and a short review of the great NWA Houston show from the past Saturday! This show was a great way to kick off our Road To WrestleMania!

HWR #66 01/21/14 ...In A Barbi World

This week the guys get to finally have Barbi Hayden on the show for an interview! She talked about her admiration for Mickie James, breaking into the business with her boyfriend Houston Carson, her upcoming match with Kacee Carlise for the NWA World Women's Championship at NWA Houston this weekend and losing her most important possession in Louisiana! After that, the crew discussed the passing of Mae Young, the continuing of Genesis, Batista's return, Daniel Bryan's role in the upcoming ppv and the lousy build to the Royal Rumble! Then, Chris debuted a new segment entitled "Push, Keep, Fire"! For this first installment, we had Alberto Del Rio, Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio!

HWR #65 01/14/14 Gustavo Es Bueno

After a hard fought battle in ROW's first ever cage match, longtime Texas indie star, Gustavo Mendoza lost his title and his career this past weekend. We sat down with him to discuss his career, his role in Booker T's ROW, his favorite memories, the events leading to his retirement and his love for sheep and cows! It was a great interview for any fan of the Texas indie wrestling scene and of ROW! After that, Gustavo stuck around for the rest of the show! We discussed the WWE Network, the horrible AJ Styles vs Magnus match, The New Age Outlaws' heel turn on Punk, the sotryline surrounding Daniel Bryan and much more!
