HWR #68 02/04/14 The HWR And Cole Show

Ring of Honor is having another show down in Texas this weekend! We had the pleasure of interviewing their world champion, Adam Cole! It was a great interview and he had a great story about traveling overseas! After that, we had a great discussion about CM Punk's departure which bled into our "Push, Keep, Fire" segment for the week! Up on the chopping block this week was Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and Antonio Cesaro! We also looked at some of the events from TNA this week! We capped it all off with Chris' account of his experience at Booker T's Fantasy Wrestling Camp and the debut of ROW on tv! 

HWR #67 01/28/14 On Location At The Great Black Compound

Ok everybody we are now officially on the Road to WrestleMania XXX! Royal Rumble was a wild and controversial ppv anyway you slice it! We got right into the hot topic of Daniel Bryan from the get-go! We jumped into the subject so fast that we almost forgot that we had a very special guest co-host for the evening, #73 for your Houston Texans, "The Great Black Otaku" Brennan Williams! In fact, we were on location at his "compound!" It was great hiving him on the show discussing all things WWE, Daniel Bryan and Royal Rumble. But the fun did not end there! We gave out a MVP for the Royal Rumble award and we also had another installment of #PushKeepFire featuring the three members of The Shield! All this was followed by some brief TNA chatter and a short review of the great NWA Houston show from the past Saturday! This show was a great way to kick off our Road To WrestleMania!

HWR #66 01/21/14 ...In A Barbi World

This week the guys get to finally have Barbi Hayden on the show for an interview! She talked about her admiration for Mickie James, breaking into the business with her boyfriend Houston Carson, her upcoming match with Kacee Carlise for the NWA World Women's Championship at NWA Houston this weekend and losing her most important possession in Louisiana! After that, the crew discussed the passing of Mae Young, the continuing of Genesis, Batista's return, Daniel Bryan's role in the upcoming ppv and the lousy build to the Royal Rumble! Then, Chris debuted a new segment entitled "Push, Keep, Fire"! For this first installment, we had Alberto Del Rio, Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio!

HWR #65 01/14/14 Gustavo Es Bueno

After a hard fought battle in ROW's first ever cage match, longtime Texas indie star, Gustavo Mendoza lost his title and his career this past weekend. We sat down with him to discuss his career, his role in Booker T's ROW, his favorite memories, the events leading to his retirement and his love for sheep and cows! It was a great interview for any fan of the Texas indie wrestling scene and of ROW! After that, Gustavo stuck around for the rest of the show! We discussed the WWE Network, the horrible AJ Styles vs Magnus match, The New Age Outlaws' heel turn on Punk, the sotryline surrounding Daniel Bryan and much more!

HWR #64 01/07/14 Snakes On A Mark

It's the first regular weekly episode after a 2 week hiatus for the Holidays and the HWR Crew had a lot to catch up on! Starting with a new format for the new year, they discussed news items first then had some TNA, WWE, ROH and indie talk! Jake Roberts' appearance on OldSchoolRAW, the TNA title situation with AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan's joining of the Wyatts and Bully Ray's attempt to setting people on fire were all discussed in this week's episode!

The 2013 HWR Year In Review Special

Well ladies and gentlemen, 2013 has gone and just like 2012, we did a big year in review special! We talked about all the big topics and themes from this year from WWE, TNA and even a little bit of ROH! We also had some year-end awards to discuss, all culminating in our much anticipated Match Of The Year verdict! Happy New Year everyone!

HWR #63 The No-Chris Christmas Party

This week, Chris was not on the show but instead we had TWO special guests! First, we talked to NWA Houston star Jasper Davis about his big number one contenders match this Friday at NWA Crimson Christmas! Then we were surprised with none other than Houston Texans rookie tackle Brennan Williams calling into the show to talk about his experience at TLC! Abel and Travis had a great time on this last show before taking a Christmas break! We will be back next year with a 2013 Year in Review special!

HWR #62 12/10/13 No Delusions Of Grandeur

We have a big weekend ahead of us! First, we have the biggest show of the year for Booker T's ROW, Christmas Chaos XIII, coming up! thus, we interviewed their commentator, Adrian Jones! Adrian has been apart of the ROW/PWA organization since the early days and we had a great interview with him! Also, this weekend WWE is bringing the TLC ppv here to Houston! We ran down the whole card and gave our predictions! On top of that, there was some TNA talk, some indie discussion and we examined the schedule of events for WrestleMania Weekend in New Orleans! This is a monster episode with some fantastic content! We hope to see you guys at ROW and TLC this weekend!

HWR #61 12/03/13 The Uprising

This week Travis and Chris tried to take over the show! Abel was not too happy about that and lots of coins were put into the swear jar! After the dust settled, the guys talked about the the Thanksgiving edition of Impact including the A's &8's funeral, Rockstar Spud's promotion and the double turkey suits! Then they discussed the Orton/Cena feud and whether Orton is indeed Cena's greatest rival. The guys also took a look at the situations with Punk/Shield and DBry/Wyatts and compared the two. Also, the latest rumors surrounding Goldberg and Davey Richards were addressed. This is a fun episode!

HWR #60 11/26/13 Struggle Point

This week we had a lot to review! Turing Point was on Thursday, we went to an In Exile concert on Friday, attended a TASW show on Saturday, saw Survivor Series on Sunday and fast forwarded through RAW on Monday! Phew! Lots of highs and lows to cover! For example, Roman Regin's performance at the ppv and the booking of the tournament matches on Impact. We also had a big announcement regarding Clutch City Productions and WrestleCon! This is a packed show and perfect to take along with you on the road for your holiday travels!
