HWR #59 11/19/13 Wait, The PPV Is When!?!?

Looks like WWE Survivor Series is upon us! It snuck up on the HWR Crew this year and the guys aren't too happy with the booking leading up to the big show. Nontheless, the guys previewed the card. After that, they previewed TNA's free ppv Turning Point! Surprisingly enough, it seems that this free ppv might be a better show than WWE's true ppv. Later, the guys try to look way forward by fantasy booking WMXXX! Also, Abel and Chris went to the NWA Houston show this past weekend and they talked about their experience there!

HWR #58 11/12/13 256 Gallons Of Chocolate And One Duct Taped Shake Weight

We had a heck of a show this week! First we had many concerns with WWE programming and we discussed them all. Then we actually showed TNA some love for once! But then, we had a crazy interview with one of the most charismatic figures in the Texas indy scene, NWA Houston LoneStar champ, "Addictive and Expensive, Big Daddy Yum  Yum" Byron Wilcott! It was probably our most fun interviews we've ever had! After all that is said and done, we chat about a few upcoming events including the SportsRadio 610 5th Annual Celebrity Roast of Houston's own, Booker T! This is a great episode you can't miss!

HWR #57 11/05/13 The Today Show Staring Houston Carson

This week the HWR Crew made up for their lack of TNA talk from last week as they discuss the past week's Impact episode and potential buyers for the company! After that there was plenty of WWE talk covering Kane in a suit, the Wyatts vs Punk and D-Bry, Big Show's ushering into the main event and reasons for SummerSlam's buyrates being down! Then we have an exclusive interview with former NWA Lonestar and NWA North American champ, Houston Carson! We discuss his admiration for HHH, his relationship with Barbie Hayden, a hilarious story involving a Bourbon Street Arby's and his upcoming matches with Kahagas at NWA Houston next Friday and Charlie Haas at NWA BOW next Saturday! Lastly, Chris reviews In Exile's new ep entitled Sense of Self! 

HWR #56 10/29/13 The Re-do

This week the guys recorded one of their best episodes to date! Unfortunately, the computer glitched out while saving said episode and it was lost completely. With Chris already on the road, Travis and Abel had to re-record an episode and this was the result. It was brief but the guys were still able to hit the main points of the week!

HWR #55 10/23/13 Hell In An Exiled Cell

This week we get pumped up with some new intro music! Thanks to the guys from In Exile for hooking us up with the opening track from their brand new EP, Sense Of Self! We reviewed TNA's Bound For Glory ppv and we then preview WWE's Hell In A Cell ppv! We also had more Match Of The Week Candidates than normal! 

NWA Houston Invasion Review

This Friday we were privileged enough get some exclusive coverage of the NWA Houston Invasion event! New Japan Pro Wrestling and NWA Houston put on a heck of a show and we had a blast! We were able to interview Raymond Rowe, the Lords of Kaos and Michael Tarver! We also did a full review of the event! All that can be heard here in this special episode! Enjoy!

HWR #54 10/16/13 Bound For An Invasion With The Ironman

On this week's episode the HWR crew discuss the epic Tag Team Title match from RAW and  they give their predictions for TNA's Bound For Glory ppv! After that the guys get to interview former WWE Tag Team Champion and current NWA World Champion, "Ironman" Rob Conway! They discuss his career in OVW, WWE and NWA! They then transition to this weekend's event where New Japan Pro Wrestling will invade NWA Houston! Oh, and there's plenty of shenanigans to go around in this episode, too! 

HWR #53 10/08/13 Scheduling Conflict

Last week was a great week for us! We celebrated our first year as a podcast, met the Hardcore Legend Mick Foley and got started on creating our own actual website! We also got to meet up with some of our listeners and got some feedback on how to improve the show! There was a mediocre ppv to review in WWE Battleground too. Oh well, can't win em all. All that was discussed in this week's show! After that, we get into a discussion about the WWE's yearly ppv schedule! This was sparked by a post on the Wrestling With Subtitles Facebook page so thanks to Max for that! Chris might have spent too much time thinking about it though.... 

HWR #52 10/01/13 'Twas A Fine Year

On October 2nd, 2012 Houston Wrestling Radio was born! One year to the date later, we give to you our 52nd episode! We had a great weekend! Travis met Chris Jericho, Chris saw Fozzy perform, Travis and Abel went to a TASW show and the whole crew had a nice anniversary celebration! After that there is some positive TNA talk, we previewed the WWE Battleground ppv, covered Santino's "snake charming" incident and compared that to Los Matadores debut! It's been one long year with ups and downs but it has been fun and here's to many more years to come!

HWR 1st Anniversary Special: Wrivalwries DVD Weview

For the first year anniversary of the show the HWR crew got together and had a small celebration. During said celebration, the guys were watching the WWE Top 25 Rivalries in Wrestling History DVD and they decided to record their commentary on the final 5! The guys are aslo joined by a very special guest... kinda....
