This week we get pumped up with some new intro music! Thanks to the guys from In Exile for hooking us up with the opening track from their brand new EP, Sense Of Self! We reviewed TNA's Bound For Glory ppv and we then preview WWE's Hell In A Cell ppv! We also had more Match Of The Week Candidates than normal!

This Friday we were privileged enough get some exclusive coverage of the NWA Houston Invasion event! New Japan Pro Wrestling and NWA Houston put on a heck of a show and we had a blast! We were able to interview Raymond Rowe, the Lords of Kaos and Michael Tarver! We also did a full review of the event! All that can be heard here in this special episode! Enjoy!

On this week's episode the HWR crew discuss the epic Tag Team Title match from RAW and they give their predictions for TNA's Bound For Glory ppv! After that the guys get to interview former WWE Tag Team Champion and current NWA World Champion, "Ironman" Rob Conway! They discuss his career in OVW, WWE and NWA! They then transition to this weekend's event where New Japan Pro Wrestling will invade NWA Houston! Oh, and there's plenty of shenanigans to go around in this episode, too!

Last week was a great week for us! We celebrated our first year as a podcast, met the Hardcore Legend Mick Foley and got started on creating our own actual website! We also got to meet up with some of our listeners and got some feedback on how to improve the show! There was a mediocre ppv to review in WWE Battleground too. Oh well, can't win em all. All that was discussed in this week's show! After that, we get into a discussion about the WWE's yearly ppv schedule! This was sparked by a post on the Wrestling With Subtitles Facebook page so thanks to Max for that! Chris might have spent too much time thinking about it though....

On October 2nd, 2012 Houston Wrestling Radio was born! One year to the date later, we give to you our 52nd episode! We had a great weekend! Travis met Chris Jericho, Chris saw Fozzy perform, Travis and Abel went to a TASW show and the whole crew had a nice anniversary celebration! After that there is some positive TNA talk, we previewed the WWE Battleground ppv, covered Santino's "snake charming" incident and compared that to Los Matadores debut! It's been one long year with ups and downs but it has been fun and here's to many more years to come!

For the first year anniversary of the show the HWR crew got together and had a small celebration. During said celebration, the guys were watching the WWE Top 25 Rivalries in Wrestling History DVD and they decided to record their commentary on the final 5! The guys are aslo joined by a very special guest... kinda....

This week Abel missed half of RAW due to satellite issues, Travis fell asleep during SmackDown and the whole crew tried to watch ROH's Death Before Dishonor XI ippv but the steam hiccups rendered the show un-watchable! Despite all that, there was plenty of wrestling talk to go around! Dixie Carter surprised everyone with her heel turn, Goldust and Cody Rhodes jumped The Shield in shocking fashion and we had one of the most unique main events in RAW history!

On the 50th episode of HWR, the guys had their first former TNA Knockout on the show! Taeler Hendrix joined in for an interesting interview! She talked about her secret love affair with pro wrestling when she was a kid growing up in the Attitude Era, working for OVW, how she felt about her time in TNA, who she would like to work with in the future and the current state of female wrestling! She was a very nice, open and honest interview! Also, the guys talk about the awesome Booker T's ROW show that took place this past weekend! After all that, there was plenty of TNA and WWE programming to review after a great No Surrender non-ppv and an average Night of Champions ppv! This show is worthy of the 50th episode milestone!

With Night of Champions this weekend, the HWR crew gave their predictions for the event! After that, there were a ton of Match Of the Week Candidates to examine! Things then take a turn for the worst when the guys start discussing the antics of Tammy "Sunny" Sytch and a recent interview of Dixie Carter. It got a little brutal! If that wasn't enough, the guys conducted an interview with Booker T's Reality of Wrestling star, "Ruthless" Ryan Davidson! He certainly lived up to his heel persona!

The HWR crew had a blast at the Clutch City Productions SuperShow this past weekend! On this episode, they talk all about their experiences of meeting SuperMex, Tito Santana, Buff Bagwell, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash in person! Also, while at the SuperShow, the guys ran into some of the HWR fan-base and had them record some clips for this week's episode! After all that, there was plenty of WWE and TNA talk including the ending of RAW, AJ Styles' firecracker promo and the great Orton vs Rhodes match! The guys did all that while trying to keep the cussing to minimum. It has gotten so bad that this week they have instituted a "swear jar!" It somewhat worked.
